Israeli Partner Dancing
See
IsraeliPartnerDancing.com for
more information on Israeli Partner Dancing.
Each hour or two, we try to do one short set of 2 or 3 partner dances.
At the end of the evening, we try to do 20 to 40 minutes
of partner dances.
Unless you are with a significant other, we encourage everyone
to change partners every dance.
If we have people without a partner,
we do the dance a second time,
so everyone has a chance to do the dance.
We teach lead and follow technique and emphasize that
over the choreography of the dance.
We highly encourage everyone to come to our class
to learn how to dance with a partner.
Once you learn these techniques, you can dance with
any other partner, not just your regular one, and
you can do dances you do not know.
You will find these skills useful wherever you go.
The skills we teach, are great for all kinds of partner dancing,
not just Israeli.
Once you learn these skills, you can go out and dance: Ballroom,
Cha Cha, Contra, Country Western, Polka, Mambo, Rumba, Salsa,
Samba, Square Dancing, Swing, Tango, Waltz and many others.
